Support quality, green Higher Education buildings in New Mexico.
The New Mexico State Board of Finance (SBOF) proposed rule change (2.70.4 NMAC) to remove the Executive Order for the Higher Education Department. Prior to the July SBOF meeting, letters from the AIA, UNM, USGBC-NM, NM Green Chamber, ASLA and many individuals and professionals were been sent to the director of the SBOF. The petition has grown to over 1500 signatures and is still going strong. Please check out our Facebook page, Twitter feed and sign petition and show your support.
Students from New Mexico State University have shared the petition they created to support quality, green building on their campus. Students from UNM have created their own petition.

The NM Board of Finance is scheduled to hold a second public hearing to remove the Executive Order for the Higher Education Department.
Proposed Rule Change to the Sustainable Building Tax Credit
The New Mexico Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department (EMNRD), Energy Conservation and Management Division will hold a public hearing on proposed rule changes to the Sustainable Building Tax Credit Program at in Porter Hall, Wendell Chino Building, 1220 South Saint Francis Drive, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
