Gerard will speak on trends in electricity consumption\, both at a state and national level\, and how energy efficiency and renewables fit into the overall consumption picture.  PNM will also present information on current residential and commercial energy efficiency programs and on a new extensive energy efficiency program filing PNM is making with the Public Regulation Commission this fall.\n    Gerard Ortiz currently serves as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at PNM.  He has been with PNM since 1981\, serving in senior level positions in regulatory policy\, market services\, business resource planning\, large customer management and distribution engineering.  Gerard has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University and an M.B.A. with a Finance Concentration from the University of New Mexico.\n    Open to the public.
